Role description

Shelter Maintenance and Restocking Volunteers are greatly needed at our Blasdell Shelter location. These volunteers’ duties include restocking litter and food supplies within the shelter, performing general repairs and maintenance projects, warehouse organization, outside maintenance tasks, etc.

Role Requirements

• Must be able to bend and lift up to 40 pounds

• Must be able to kneel on the floor as needed

• Forklift operation experience is preferred but not required

• Must be able to work along side other volunteers, staff, and guests at our shelter

• Reliable transportation

• Commitment to a weekly scheduled shift of 2 to 3 hours is preferred, but some flexibility is available
