WHAT IS STOMATITIS


Stomatitis is a painful mouth condition with chronic inflammation and ulceration of the soft tissues. It is not yet known what causes Stomatitis, but it is thought to be the result of an excessive immune reaction against the plague that forms on teeth or the dentim which makes up the tooth itself. This condition requires excessive pain medication and antibiotics to keep it in check. Imagine the pain and depression that cats experience with this condition. We are in desperate need of funds to help these cats and alleviate their discomfort.
