Ten Lives Club; cat rescue and adoption group is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization that serves to help the Western New York area with stray/unwanted cats and kittens. Our goal is to reduce the serious cat over-population problem to a manageable size by spaying and neutering as many cats as possible in our community. In doing so we will prevent unwanted kittens from being needlessly euthanized due to overcrowding in shelters. Our mission is "To promote, further, and enhance all cat life." We do so through spaying and neutering, and actively seeking to adopt the many cats and kittens that come into our organization. We give unwanted cats another chance, another life. It is said that cats have "nine lives." Ten Lives Club’s goal is to find every cat and kitten that enters our program a committed and "furever" home!

Ten Lives Club has a temporary shelter and warehouse in Hamburg, NY which houses some 80+ cats and kittens. We also have over 100 cats in foster care and over 100 cats between our Tabbytown McKinley Mall store and our eight pet store adoption sites (PETCO, Petsmart, Pets Supplies Plus). The cost to keep our organization actively running is approximately $25,000 a month.

Since 2001 when our organization began, we have helped over 10,000 cats through adoption, providing medical care, spaying or neutering through our low-cost clinic for stray/feral cats, or providing daily care in our shelter or foster care. In 2010 alone, 1,222 cats and kittens were placed in new homes through Ten Lives Club. Along with our local SPCA Ten Lives Club is the largest cat rescue in Erie County. We work closely with the SPCA and the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter taking on their homeless cats when they have reached their capacity. The community needs and relies on our help.
