We have fifteen various rooms (the majority of which house our rescued cats) at the shelter that need to be tended to and cleaned every single day. No matter the day, holiday, or the weather conditions the shelter has to be cleaned and our cats taken care of. If you can spare an hour or two a week or a few times a month, we would love the help.
Volunteers need to be 18+. Children 10 and over with an adult are also welcome. Cleaning involves scooping litter boxes, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washes dishes and/or litter pans, and doing laundry.
Please fill out the volunteer form or stop by the shelter if you are interested in helping.
Peace of mind for the cats!
Thanks to all who attended and supported the emergency fundraiser held on January 26th to cover the cost of our damaged door and to purchase security cameras for the shelter. $2500 was raised for this cause.
The damaged door has been replaced and the cameras/ monitors are now installed providing 24 hours protection for our shelter. We want to prevent any future break-ins and most importantly protect our cats and kittens from any harm! We also hope to deter irresponsible people from leaving cats and kittens in taped boxes in our parking lot!
Donations are still needed for the"Emergency Fund" to cover the cost of repairs and security equipment and can be made on our website through Network For Good or by mailing your check to:

Happy Birthday
Ten Lives Club!
In February 2008 Ten Lives Club entered it's 8th year as an organization.Over6,000 cats have benefited from TLC being in existence whether through adoptions, rescues, foster care, financial help, or spaying/neutering.
GRAND OPENING of Ten Lives Club's New Shelter
We are a non-profit cat adoption and rescue organization located in Western New York. We rely on donations to help us feed, medicate, and house over 400 cats in our program. By 2007 TLC will have helped save the lives of over 4000+ cats and kittens whether through adoptions, spay and neutering efforts or through the assistance they offer. Please consider making a donation, purchasing our merchandise or donating canned food, litter, or any supplies that we can use at our three cat shelters.
Ten Lives Club began in January 2001 with a dream to be able to save as many cats as possible. In December 2004, TLC reached a huge milestone in that they adopted out their 2000th cat! That means 2,000 cats were saved and kept alive and adopted into new homes thanks to Ten Lives Club. In 2006, we had 736 adoptions. We also provided financial assistance to six pet owners so that they could keep their pet in their home. Ten Lives also took in cats from two local non-profit rescue groups, assisted the SPCA and City Shelter with surrendered cats, took in cats from: Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, W. Virginia, Ohio, and outside WNY shelters.
Ten Lives Club is a registered non-profit organization that is made up of volunteers all devoted to the club's mission, "to promote, further and enhance all cat life". All cats matter to us no matter if a stray, a personal pet, a feral (wild cat) or a sick cat. Once a cat is surrendered to our group a thorough evaluation is done by one of our affiliated vets and all the necessary testing and shots are given. Most important, they are spayed and neutered. TLC believes strongly that the answer to the serious pet overpopulation problem is to spay and neuter!
